Comparison is an act of violence against the self.
You shouldn’t look for answers in people who have left you.
There are no revelations there. No guides. No fulfillment’s of any kind.
You’re not going to find a map to paradise in these people.
You’re going to find confusion and a lot more questions, perhaps even more than you can handle.
And I know people change, that is if they want to but why give in?
Why trust who has broken you before?
I mean, people live and sometimes they have the nerve to come back but that doesn’t mean you’ve got to let them back in.
You don’t have to.
You owe it to yourself to be happy.
Besides look at you now, you’re a goddam superstar and in their absence you have found more of yourself and your smile.
You’re stronger and to be honest, you don’t need to spiral around the bulls*** their universe brings.
You don’t need people who have hurt you to convince you of how beautiful you are.
You’re a flower, and you don’t drown the moment the rain starts falling down.
This week I received two emails wising for financial guidance. For years I always seems to have more bills than I did money. I never got to spend my time doing what I wanted to do and always hoped to make a more money so I could like the life I deserved, which I honestly thought was impossible. So I started watching what my wealthy clients. What did they have in common that made them wealthy? I noticed 3 things. First, they almost never cared what other people owned, only what they owned. Second, they hated debt. I mean REALLY hated debt. The third and final thing was almost all of them have financial planners. The next thing I did was search out books to read about wealthy people. The 3rd book I came across has changed my life forever, and countless friends. It spoke to me, because it sounded like my wealthy clients. It was called The Total Money Makeover: A Proven Plan for Financial Fitness, by Dave Ramsey. it became apparent after reading the book, if I could not do the very basic thing Dave outlines in his book, I could not ever become wealthy. It was a simple thing, but it was the first step/foundation, before I could even entertain the idea of being wealthy. The ability to budget. It sounds so simple, but it can be extremely hard for most of us. Many of us were never taught to budget at an early age. What does it even mean? So if you are having financial problems/stress, this is one of the first book I would recommend reading or listening too. I even took his live course, which was extremely helpful for me.

Once you are wealthy, this will be the question everyone wants to ask you. How did you do it? They want to know the secret formula and recreate part of it. How do I know? I know because that was me.
My job is to manage and invest the money of the wealthy. That being said I did not know how to get vast sums of wealth. I only knew how to grow mass sums of wealthy. so I started observing my clients, to see if I could find some clues to develop vast sums of wealth.
One of them handed me this book and said if I could not follow these basic steps I would never be wealthy.
He was so right. It is very simple, but not easy. Dave Ramsey Also has a podcast, if you do not want to start with the book. If you are not wealthy yet, please read or listen to this book, Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover.
